They arrived at a larger hospital taken over bei FEMA. Soldiers of Fema in grey white uniforms patrol the area. The truck stopped inside and all got off. Some Fema employees with hazmat suits carried the wounded Oliver inside the Quarantine tent with milky transparent walls. The National Guard reported what happened and give the responsibility over to Fema. They went back to their trucks and left the premise. Through the milky tent wall it can be seen that Oliver was thoroughly examined while unclothed. It took a while and then they wave one after another in to go through quarantie measures. All the stuff they had is stored in plastic containers and put to the side tent where all is stored away for safe keeping. While examined all could pass with green scan, only the first – Oliver – passed with red scan and can be seen to be guided deeper into the quarantine labyrinth. The characters are told that they are save here and after all screenings and checkups they can leave whenever they feel for it. Oliver is ok, they can get him back on the feets, but have to keep him in quarantine for safety while they patch him up.
While the group was lead to the main building they see many areas outside in the areal with tents and regular civilians who seek shelter here under the protection of FEMA. The group get a room with bunkbeds where they can rest. They are free to roam around except resctricted areas.
Now Cindara, Vladmir, Bozo and Lee taking a rest in their room. Cindara is disliking Vladmir so much that she works on a plan to get one or both of the others to distrust him too and find out what Vlad is planing. The rest took long and Lee wakes up in the middle of the night from screaming he thinks. He walks out of the room to use the restroom and he hears whispering voices coming from one side. He looks over and see an old lady in patient gown stepping barfeet foot after foot and whispering “if they get you once, they have you, they have you and don’t let you go” repeatedly and passes by on Lee without noticing him a lot. Lee catches up with her while a nurse comes already and lead her back to her room. “She is doing that all the time, so sorry for that” the nurse said to Lee.
Earlier this night Oliver strapped on his bed and can’t move got a doctor visit, not talking to much to him, and injecting him some medication, a white mixed cocktail, which makes Oliver dizzy and go back to sleep. Later in the night he wakes up from some close to his head talking in lower voice “dead dead, you are dead. Once strapped on, the white flush rushes and you disappear, disappear. Flush, flush” while she manages to get one of his strapped hands free. She got interupted by someone passing by outside and she disappears in like she showed up. Still dizzy Oliver falls back in dreamland.
On the next day the group has to decide how to go on and what to do with Oliver. Bozo, the clown, is volunteering to ask around about this place only to find out that FEMA is researching here on their own about the outbreak and infected bitten patients will be isolated and treated in a seperate wing. They inject them with a medication that is a mix out of medicin, Antibiotics and infected blood in a certain ratio. Some of the subjects respond well and seem to get better, but most of them don’t make it and decease.
